Crayon Chick » An indie business of old crafts and new tricks, designer/maker, artist and keen on elevenses.

A magazine, or two, and a cup of tea.

You know, it’s all about the people you meet and I have to say the gorgeous Prue from Gigi and Lulu has had me blushing and saying Aw Shucks this afternoon after a lovely reference on her blog to some fabulous work she did for me recently putting together my first ever Crayon Chick postcard. Gigi and Lulu is a petite marketing studio for petite business with big ideas and big dreams – a match made in Chez Crayon heaven if you ask me!

And I have to say I’m pretty chuffed with Crayon Chick popping up in a few magazines lately. I had a nice sit down with a cup of tea to catch up the other day. Is there any nicer way to flick through some gorgeous magazines than with a cup of tea? I think not! Well, maybe with a piece of fruit cake.

Garland strung across the top and down the front of the fabulous fabric tent in House and Garden.

Ah, Autumn, my favourite season so it’s even more special to have a Crayon Chick garland on an Autumn page in Shop 4 Kids.

Sarah Woods - Make mine a soy latte and I’ll bring some new mags I just bought.

Susannah - YAAH! This post made me smile – well, all of your posts do, but I do love celebrating the successes of lovely people, so seeing your gorgeous work in such wonderful magazines made me grin!
Very excited for you.

Frankie and Ray - Hurrah! Pass the fruit cake please, and I’d love a cuppa (well, coffee anyway).
