Anticipating Spring

Anticipating Spring

I’m lucky enough to live right around the corner from a fabulous nursery and in a bit of pre-spring garden prep I had a chat with one the gnarly grey-whiskered old blokes there for some garden tips. He tells me we won’t see the arrival of spring-proper for another month yet and to hold off replacing my poor battered and depleted rosemary until then – brrr (snuggle deeper into the scarf I’m currently wearing indoors).

Thankfully I can’t help but notice the delicious colours of spring popping up in other places, like the cover of a magazine I bought on the weekend (which came with a free Keep Calm And Carry On tea towel *bliss*), and in my choice in colours to craft by. I’m totally loving teals with mustard, and Tiffany’s blue with pinks and reds.
