Crayon Chick at Bowerbird Bazaar, Adelaide
It’s Wednesday morning and I think I’m finally coming out of my post-market fog! I might even empty my suitcases this morning. Just moving them from the front door would be a great start!
Bowerbird Bazaar is amazing, the things to see, the things to want – be still my heart! It’s a shame I didn’t get a chance to have a real good look once everyone was set up, the pitfall of working alone I suppose. But I strongly suggest you look for Bowerbird Bazaar on Facebook and check out their fabulous photos from the weekend. You’ll feel like you were there.
I bought a new dress, I’m so excited, I love it! It’s by The Wolf and I and I felt a million dollars in it. If it wasn’t on the line at the moment I’d be wearing it now. I’d be wearing it tomorrow. I’m definitely wearing it on the weekend. It’s so easy to wear with all my layers, yay!
And I can’t ignore the food in Adelaide – how wonderful is it! We formed a posse of peeps to break bread, or in this case to spin the lazy susan, on Saturday night and it was fabulous. It’s lovely when networks become friends. I work alone, I’m not part of a team to bounce ideas off and share the load, to help problem solve and just hang out with. To spend time with other designers/crafters in the same boat is more valuable than you can imagine.
So thank you Adelaide, I had a marvellous time!
