Duck Egg Blue

I covet this beautiful Panetone coffee mug from Greenhouse On Line

It’s really horrible and muggy and nasty and I just wish I could stand in the shower all afternoon. Clearly that’s not going to happen, but the next best thing is to start working on an order featuring Duck Egg Blue!

What a totally cool and calm and clean colour. I’ve just had some new drawings dropped off for Kids With Crayons which will hang in a loungeroom with Duck Egg Blue walls. And I’m so excited to create some artwork to coordinate in such a lovely room. Imagine sitting in that room now, with a cool drink – you know the type, a high ball of some description with beads of condensation rolling off.

And this is just clean and fresh and lovely, also from Flickr (I’m having fun this afternoon) by MistyBliss

I’m such a cardy girl, isn’t this one sweet. Flickr (again) by Laura Ward

Wow. This is a beautiful image, found on lovely Flickr of course, and it’s by A Tree Called Life
Oh, how did you know this Cuban Highball is exactly what I’d like right now?

one little acorn - Gorgeous photos Michelle!
I too love the pantone mugs. I am lucky enough to have a red one (pantone 186)… If money was no concern, I would love love love to have a full set.

Margaret @ Konstant Kaos - Given your post, I think I might pick up a bottle of tonic on the way home .. bad influence that you are!

Kate - I love this post! It really is the perfect colour to deal with this weather. We went into a paint shop the other day to ask for ‘duck egg blue’ for the inside of our caravan and you should have seen the look they gave us. We came home with Brittany!! Not such a nice name for a colour really.

Jacki - How pretty, a perfect colour to combat the heat!
