Hello February. What did you do with January? It’s time to get serious, roll up my proverbial sleeves and rein in the pace before I lose any more days. I’m writing this in a cafe with a monthly planner in front of me and reading an article about the Year Of The Horse. The horse is a symbol of travelling and also of speedy success. Apparently I can look forward to a busy schedule. They got that right. I was born in the year of the snake and in the Chinese 5 elements theory, snake and horse are in Fire. They are the same gang (I’ve got a gang!) and they get on well. That’s good news, right!
And in the spirit of travelling I took it as a good excuse, and in no way shape or form a procrastination *ahem*, to browse through some holiday snapshots and gather some of my favourite lantern pictures to share.
Kung Hei Fat Choy – Happy Chinese New Year to you!
