Is It Playtime Yet?

This bit of green heaven was found at Hyena In Petticoats

There was never any doubt I would be inspired after my week at the Stitches and Craft Show. So I’m not surprised I’ve come home each night with armfuls of projects to launch into. Like I’ve got the time! This is the girl who draws the line in the sand at 2am to put the craft down and go to bed. I think I’m going to have a free minute in July (fingers crossed) and have plans to fill every second of that time on personal projects, like knitting a cardigan! In a week. I can do that. No problems. Sure. Absolutely! I’ve found the perfect pattern, minimal shaping, garter stitch, fat ply and needles. Easy! I’ve even got it in my head to whittle my own wooden buttons for that rustic wintry snuggly look I have in my mind. A week – piece of cake! Roll on July!

But there’s no reason why I couldn’t make a start now. Well, once I’ve finished the orders that have come through while I’ve been at the Show. Oh yeah, and restocked all my goodies for the next round of markets, starting next weekend at Maribyrnong Makers Market. Followed by Mathilda’s Market. And then my next road trip to Sydney the following week for Magnolia Square ……..
You gotta have a dream.
And the right wool!

Juicy Roo - Hey Michelle! You also sound just like me! Head spinning post-show, filled with inspirational ideas for personal projects, trying to find time to slot them in! It was awesome having you as a neighbour and you were too sweet to help out my Mum xo
