Noticing the little things

I love my new little mini planters from Wind andWillow

If there’s a common thing I’m known for then it’s noticing the little things.  Which is why I’m so drawn to Instagram.  The things you don’t normally notice right under your nose are, well, noticed!  Love it.

And the little things I’ve noticed lately are plants.  Not plants as plants but plants as signs of persistence.

In tiny cracks you would hardly notice there is a plant.  Growing.  Unbelievably.  I think of the molly-coddling that goes on in my garden and wonder about it all.  How’s the plants that won’t let 3 inches of bitumen stop them!  Up they pop, nothing getting in their way.  They have a mission, a purpose and on they go.

In the quiet early mornings of my walks as I notice these I wonder if I can’t take a leaf *pun intended* from what I notice.

Have a plan, know who I am, and nothing is going to get in the way.  That surely must be a good way to be.  Sounds like a good recipe for success and productivity.  Stick with it.  Don’t let anything stop what you really want.  Don’t wait for the perfect time and place – just do what you already know how to do.

Thanks, little things, glad I noticed!

one little acorn - Love the little planters… and you’re right, there is something special about the small things, and instagram is a great way of connecting with them.
The magic of small things.
Happy New Year Michelle!
