It’s not quite beach-combing, but just as fun to fossick along the foreshore when the dam levels have dropped. We have lost things like car keys, hats and shirts, lost thongs, the sunroof of the boat, ski ropes and handles. We’ve heard of inherited grandmother’s wedding rings and watches go for a permanent dip. I even watched a boat sink once. These sandshoes look recently jettisoned. And surprisingly still available as a pair!
