Photography – the early days

Crochet Bowl by Crayon Chick
Do you remember polaroids? Were you ever lucky enough to have one when you were a kid? I wasn’t. The girl down the street had one. And an Uncle had one. They were the most magical camera ever. Instant! In a flash! I’m loving the special filters and apps for photos available now for daggy nostaligia girls like Crayon Chick.

I do remember my first camera, it had the most fabulous Flash Cube and it was so groovy! I bet Keith Partridge had one.
You just have to check out this YouTube clip – an ad from the 60s for Flash Cube. It’s wonderful!
This is it – the Flash Cube – you could take 4 flash shots in a row without having to change bulb – how progressive! Image sourced from here.
