Solstice Sun

I’m sorting through colours and creating colour combinations … what a blissful task from my To Do List! It was a foggy start to the day which has since given way to a gloriously blue-skyed and sunny afternoon. My front room is glowing in this light and I’ve dragged my wool stash to sit in a puddle of sunlight on the rug and create some woolly colour palettes.

Some days are just easier than others.
Happy Solstice! And as my lovely Dad would say with the shortest day of the year over, when each day gets a little bit longer than the one before, when the sun starts it’s return to the south and warmer times …. “it’s a downhill run to Christmas”.
