Stitches and Craft Show Countdown

Every minute has been put to productive use in the lead up to next week’s Stitches and Craft Show in Sydney. I’m very pleased with my new found ability to crochet while riding a tram, walking down the street, and watching SBS movies with subtitles.

Great piles of things have been created ready for me to finish off. It seems every where I look there’s something waiting for my attention.

I commented the other day about feeling like the definition of a whirling dervish and my friend came back with the most insightful and calming response by saying the whirling dervish whirls to get a state of nirvana and that if I keep whirling everything will be bliss. Isn’t that the best!

Let’s just hope that lovely feeling is maintained when I get back from Sydney and face the chaos I’m about to leave my studio in. At least I’ll be a practiced whirler by then and will know how to either fix it or deny it!
