Tea, toast and the weekend papers

Guess who popped up in the paper today! I’m pretty excited to be in one of my favourite weekend columns, I Made It Myself, by Angela Blakston in the A2 section of Melbourne’s The Age. I’ve long gone to this section first to see who’s in it this time, followed by the gardening section to see What To Do In The Garden This Week, before daydreaming about which movie to see if I didn’t have a market on. I love the supplements and hang onto them until every word is read. It used to be compulsory tram travel reading back in my commuting to the city days. These days it’s snatching a page or two waiting for the kettle to boil, which it does on average at least 8 times a day. I do love a cup of tea.

Betty Jo - Yay fellow “I Made it Myselfer’. It sounds like the Stitches & Craft Show is going well. I’ll see you on Sunday for the lowdown!
